Brian G. Zimmermann, 65, passed away at his home in Lawrenceville, GA on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born April 3, 1953 to Bill and Agnes Zimmermann in Morristown, NJ. Brian was a self-employed landscape architect and land planner. His design work can be seen throughout the Atlanta Area. Survivors include his mother Agnes Zimmermann of Columbus, GA; his sisters Cathy Stokes (Dan) of Greenville, SC and Mary Zimmermann (Frank) of Columbus, GA; brothers John Zimmermann(Shannon) and David Zimmermann (Suzanne) of Columbus, GA and Robert Zimmermann (April) of Bishop, GA; step-children Cindy Ramu of Lawrenceville, GA and Michael Snider of Hueytown AL; step-granddaughter Nicole Suarez of Lawrenceville GA; step-great granddaughter Emma Suarez of Lawrenceville GA; as well as many nieces and nephews that affectionately referred to him as ‘Uncle Bunny’ and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie McCarley Zimmermann; father Bill Zimmermann; sister Barbara Tepedino; and brother Bill Zimmermann. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 3:00pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel in Lawrenceville, GA.

  10. For 35 years you were my sounding board. You help me excel school and made my laugh and then you told me what to do. You made me the person I am today.With you life was full of ups and downs. My whole family will miss you. My love of your honesty and the times I felt like I would fell in my education you took me under your wing.Brian I’m so sorry I didn’t get there in time to say goodbye to the most important friend I’ve ever had. My two degrees and the long studying .and the laughs when I didn’t think I could do it. you and my mom became fast friends and encourage me to push forward. Don’t ever think the gifts you give me and my family were not appreciated. You were a tough cookie and one hell of friend. I will keep you in my heart soul and I know I have one guardian angel looking over me. I will not let you down and I will continue to pay your life lesson forward. You no I work a lot but one thing I wish i had done was when you said come home no questions ask I wish I had. My family is mourning the last of a brother, uncle and sun that shine around you. Thanks for the love you you give and the knowledge to push. Brian I know in my heart that there will ever be anyone as important to me as you were. On the bright side I know I have a great guardian angel. Remember Hootie and the Blow Fish (lol) and telling me never let them see you sweat. To your family you did good with the most wonderful human being in my world. He loved you dearly. I don’t no if you no of me but 35 years of friendship I feel as if I know you.   11. Sometimes the strongest among us are the ones who smile through silent pain, cry behind closed doors, and fight battles nobody knows about. I will miss you so much Brian. Thanks for always being my rock a girl couldn’t ask for anyone better in there lives. Through thick and thin, you taught me to never say never.

  12. Brian was the last parent that I had. He was a great dad, a great teacher, a awsome husband to my mom. He was my best friend! May the good Lord above give you an angel to guide you every step of the way to get you where you need to be in Jesus name I prey. Amen. See you on the other side my friend.   13. Brian was a close friend when I was going to Columbus High in Georgia. I remember good times driving around in his 62 Chevy Impala. Last time I saw him was in Athens, Georgia when I visited him while he was going to college Farewell Old friend sorry we did not get to meet up later in life
