Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To the family,

My condolences go out to you at this difficult time. Losing someone that you love so dear is very hard, but please know that God promises that soon he will do away with sickness and death and will also reunite you together again. (Revelation 21:4, John 5:28,29). Until that time may you cherish the many memories you shared together as they too can be a source of comfort.

  2. TINA AND FAMILY, MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AND THE FAMILY. MS. CHRIS WAS ALWAYS A JOY TO BE WITH, MS CHRIS WAS A GREAT NEIGHBOR FOR 17 YEARS. SHE WILL BE MISSED AND ALWAYS LOVED BY EVERYONE SHE CROSSED PATHS WITH.

  3. Acts 24:15 gives a wonderful hope of a resurrection for those we have lost in death. May you endure and find peace through our Father, the God of all comfort

  4. My aunt was a beautiful lady always smiling and a loving person.
Sorry to hear of her passing. She lived a very long life. Im sure she is with our Lord resting in peace.
To the family, I know you will miss Aunt Sissy, as this is what I have always known her by. She was my mothers only sister.
I used to stay with Aunt Sissy, Uncle Herb, Tammy & Tina every summer. Each evening we would sit around clipping threads from the name tags that were to be sewn on a uniform from their business. If we got all our clipping done we got to pack a picnic basket and Uncleb Herb would take out the boat for an afternoon of fun in the sun.
My aunt loved being outdoors and on the lake.
She always packed the best picnic lunch. I would get to open the hatch from the sleeping area and come up through this hatch to ride in the very front of the boat. Water would spray all over and my aunt was constantly checking on me to make sure I was ok.
I loved my visits to their home in GA.
When I married we stayed at their home and spent our honeymoon going to 6 flags, Stone Mountain and even had Tammy & Tina go with us.
Needles to say she was a loving and giving person always there to help, to lend a hand. Aunt Sissy was a shinning star.
As the years passed and my family grew we did not see one another. The occasional visit to Nashville to see my grandfather and my mom, Dorothy K. Wilson and family. After she moved my grandfather in with her our next visit would be when my mom passed away. My aunt brought Pappy, as he was known to say his goodbyes to my mother. It would be a long time before i would see my aunt again.
My brother Tom keept in contact with Tony & Linda and would always let me know how my aunt was doing. Then my grandfather passed and the family gathered once again to say our goodbyes. My aunt still as beautiful as ever, she never seemed to age much but, she was always a very active and busy person.
I know if you meet my aunt you would likely remember her. Aunt Sissy could light up a room with her presents. A loving and kind hearted lady. She was always very fashionable too.
You will not be forgotten, as my oldest son, Christopher was named after you. That redheaded great nephew is now all grown up with a family of his own.
Rest comfortably for im sure the Lord has special plans for you. If it is a social get together your sure to have a hand in entertainment and decorations. Being united with uncle Herbert, your parents and my mom, plus all the aunts and uncles. What a glorious day it will be when we all get to heaven, I will be looking for you there.

  5. Revelation 21:4
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
