David "Cowboy" Wayne Mulkey passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019, after an illness. He is survived by wife, Jeannine of 18 years; his two sons David (Katy) and Jay (Alex); sister Sheila Dixon (Charlie), brother Tommy (Darla), and sister Carrie Jo Johansen (Kevin), grandchildren Magnolia, Skylor, Everett, Cheyenne, Audrey and Asher. David was an avid sports fan and especially loved football and NASCAR auto racing and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. In recent years, he also enjoyed home gardening projects, watching vintage television programs, and playing online games. David was an accomplished businessman and will be greatly missed by his employees. A special thanks to the staff at Eastside Medical Center for their care, kindness, and attentiveness over the last few years. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-277-4550.
