Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. John, Cindy and Tommy. I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents where a big part of my life growing up and I found it quite nice my mom and your dad stayed in touch thru out the years. My mom told me that the conversations they had of the past and your mother where very comforting to her. I think it was therapeutic for both. May you have some peace knowing he is out of pain and holding hands with your mom once again. Prayers for your entire family.

  2. We know you are missing your Dad, we are too. Jeff and I remember talking with him and Doris, some great talks, a very funny and fun time was always had. I remember John, his warm welcome and laugh. He seemed to enjoy life, I’m glad to have known him. All our love John, Cindy and Tom.

  3. Jean and I are extremely sorry for your loss and we consider it a great loss for us as well. I always considered John a friend as well as an uncle. I always looked forward to visits with John and his children when I was young, and Jean and I continued to enjoy many times with John and Doris as we grew older. He will be sorely missed by Jean and myself.

  4. Cindy, Grant, Tom, John & Kathleen – we are all so deeply saddened by the loss of your Dad and our Uncle. I have wonderful memories that began as a small child coming to visit all of you. I am thankful for the last time I saw Uncle John, 4 years ago while in Atlanta for work. We had a great afternoon and a lot of laughs with the stories Uncle John told of a few adventures with my Dad. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Sending our thoughts and prayers for today, Saturday and beyond. Love – Andrea, Ralph and Stephen

  5. Am so sad to hear about Uncle John’s passing. He was the most lovable guy one could imagine. I have many fond memories from Natchez days and after. Although he was technically my step-uncle, to me he was always Uncle John. I appreciated his continued connection even through recent years. My deepest condolences to John, Thomas, Cynthia and the rest of the family. – Stephen, Tangmo, Jason

  6. The handball community will miss you brother. “Better is on day in his courts (He will have plenty of handball courts), than thousands elsewhere”.

  7. John, Cindy, Tommy, Kathleen, Grant …I was saddened to learn of John’s passing earlier in the week. Both he and your Mom were the best of neighbors (and you ‘kiddos’ when younger at home). As I’ve missed Doris since her passing, I’ll now miss John. We had some meaningful conversations at the street mailbox and it was a privilege to visit with him just before my leaving town a few weeks ago. I will continue to remember you in prayer at this time. Isaiah 26:3-4
