Julianne Furse Farr of Lawrenceville, GA outran us to the Father’s House on Oct. 19, 2018. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Wages & Son Funeral Home on Wed, Oct 24 at 10 am, located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA. This will be followed by the funeral service at 1 pm at Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church located at 395 W Crogan St, Lawrenceville, GA. Officiant is the Rev. Jared Evans. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church. Julianne was married to the Rev. Charles A. Farr, who went to live with Jesus earlier this year. Together they served our Lord for 41 years as Rev. Farr was a United Methodist Pastor in the North Ga Conference, leading churches in Thomaston, Royston, Augusta, Carrollton and the metro Atlanta area. Julianne loved the Lord and was a vital part of their ministry, her lovely smile and endearing personality warmed everyone she met. Julianne was highly active in the church, from President of United Methodist Women to playing the hand bells. She was also named a “Gracious Lady of Georgia”. She dearly loved her precious family and playing Bridge and having fun with her fellow preacher’s wives. Julianne is survived by her children Glen Farr, Wayne & Tracey Farr, Amy & Geoff Stewart, her brothers John, David & James Furse, and grandchildren Austin, Taylor & Kendall Farr, Adam, David and Matthew Stewart, Charlie & Katie Farr, Chelsea & Chris Kinsler and her only great-grandchild – Rhett Kinsler.
