Letha Mary Henderson age 80, made her transition on June 15, 2017. A Memorial service is planned for June 24, 2017 at 12pm at Unity Church of Pontiac 780 W Huron Street, Pontiac, MI 48341. Letha was born November 10, 1936 to John and Curly Jackson she had 3 Brothers that preceded her in death 1 sister Shelia Carter, and 1 daughter Cheri (Stan) Tademy, 1 granddaughter Tiona (Jovaughn), 1 great granddaughter A'mour cousin/bro Herbert Jones as well as many nieces and nephews and wonderful freinds."Letha Mary" as She was known ran Jones Market (first black owned poultry market in Pontiac, MI.) She worked for general Motors and was a member of Unity Church of Pontiac before going to Georgia to live with her Girls. She was a living laughing and loving beautiful Woman!

Gra I was about 12 years old when one day you made me sit down and learn this lol. I still remember i sat on the steps at Tionas house and read it over and over. You told me not to get up until I memorize it lol. You are a child of God and now you have your wings. Continue to watch over us as you always did. Cheri and Tiona I’m truly sadden for you today. Letha Mary was a wonderful Mom, grandma, auntie, sister etc. I loved her also she was always full of life, laughter and wisdom. She will be truly missed by so so many. God has called this angel home so she can make the other angels smile as she shines her joy down on you and everyone.
Letha you were the BEST!!! I shared some of my best years with you and feel so blessed to have known you, learned from you and partied with you. Will miss you, see you in heaven, My Mut was your name for me will never forget you.
