Yeuk-Mui Lee

Dedicated, devoted, and determined are the words that would best describe Patricia Lee. She was a loving person who devoted all of her love and affection towards her son, and everyone she knew and loved. She dedicated her time and energy to help those that needed it, be it a close friend of someone she did not even know. She was also a fighter up until the very end and she would not rest until she had accomplished whatever it is that she set out for. She is greatly loved by everyone that know her. She had helped people countless times through rough times even when she was in a worse situation. She will be deeply missed. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. Pat Lee was a wonderful woman and was one of the nicest person I’ve ever had a chance to know. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. My deepest sympathy and prayers go to Nat, Vicky and Edson. Pat Lee was a fighter all her life. The biggest one took place this past year during her fight to cancer. She took care of everything herself, got treated, came to work because she didn’t want to be a burden to anyone even though she had tons of friends offering to help. Pat Lee was a very generous and caring lady that always put others first even when she was enduring so much pain and discomfort. She fought so hard and was so brave until the end. She would always say “I am ok” even when she was not, I admired her for that. We lost a very special friend, but all the wonderful memories of the time we spent together will remain with us forever. In memory of my beloved friend Pat Lee, may you be wrapped in God’s love, found deep in his everlasting wings, where you will be kept safe and cherished. RIP

  3. Dear Ms. Vicky, Nat and Mr. Edson.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Pat Lee was a great friend and she will be missed dearly. May God give you the strength to bear this major loss. May her soul Rest In Peace.

  4. I extend my deepest condolences to Nat and her family. Patricia was a dear friend, whom I had the honor to know and share many heartfelt memories. She had a radiant heart and a beautiful soul; always willing to help others and gave without hesitation. I will miss her tremendously! Rest in peace my dear friend and know that I will not ever forget you and the positive impact you had in my life. Patricia is a gift and a blessing!

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers for God’s Peace and Comfort go out to Nat and Pat’s family.

  6. I met Pat back in 1989 while I was a undergraduate student doing a summer lab internship in her graduate lab at the Univ. of Southern Mississippi. She was the nicest, and most calm person who helped me complete my summer project. I was surprised to see her again when I came to CDC in 1999. We had lunch over the years and she was so very helpful and giving in the areas of finances. My condolences to her family. She will be sorely missed.

  7. Pat was my first boss at CDC and was such a warm (and brilliant!) mentor. I will miss her dearly. She is the reason I work at CDC now and I am forever grateful for kindness to me. Prayers for her family.

  8. WOW, What A Beautiful Soul.
Although I didn’t know her; you can clearly see her LIGHT in her picture!
Rest in Peace, Ms. Pat, as we pray the prayer of comfort for your family.

Heavenly FATHER, We Thank YOU for the ways in which Ms Pat has given to our society. We think about what a kind neighbour she has been, and her love for community life. May her acts of service be a lasting light to us all.

  9. We ask each other after someone’s passing how do I go on?
I met Pat in 1999, she was my first supervisor at CDC, always so caring, friendly and supportive, we became good friends for life.
I am convinced Pat was an angel who came to this world to do good to others and bring the best out of people, who came here to be an example! She always put other’s needs ahead of her own and always made sure we didn’t worry about her.
Nat you should be proud of your mom. Vickie and Edson you should be proud of your sister.
Nat you meant the world to Pat and I hope that thinking of her love for you and all the moments you had with her will help you go through this difficult time. I miss her dearly but also know that I will carry her in my heart forever!

  10. I met Patricia for the first time in Sierra Leone, we worked side by side for just a few days but that was enough for me to see how sweet, smart and hardworking Pat was and I am sure she will be remembered and missed by many! We met a couple more times after that and were so happy to see each other! It is hard to believe that she is not here with us anymore but I will always cherish the blessing of meeting and getting to know such a nice and sweet lady.
Please accept my sincere condolences, may God bring comfort to your hearts.

  11. She was kind and intelligent – soft spoken and defending her points of view. We will miss her.
