Arthur Clifford "A C" Sheppard

Arthur Clifford “AC” Sheppard, age 80 of Lithonia, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Born on Sunday, December 1, 1940, son of the late Wesley and Sue Thompson Sheppard. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Sheppard.

Mr. Sheppard was the owner and operator of AC Sheppard Hauling. He loved his classic cars and enjoyed trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Surviving is his wife Debbie Warbington Sheppard of Lithonia, Georgia, son Arthur Sheppard Jr. of Eatonton, Georgia, brother, Andy (Sarah) Sheppard of Social Circle, Georgia; Sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Diane (Pat) Gill, and Linda (Jimmie) Rogers of Oxford, Georgia; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Tommy (Susan) Warbington of Dacula, Georgia, Lamar (Cathy) Warbington of Conyers, Georgia. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Allen Swink officiating, interment will follow in the Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel on Wednesday June 2, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that contributions be made to the LifeLine Animal Project 3180 Presidential Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30340.

The funeral procession will include a classic car lineup leaving Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 3, 2021. All owners of classic cars are asked to attend the Celebration of Life for Mr. Sheppard.
