To the Shipley family,

Your mother was a very special person to me. I was honored to be able to call her my “other Mother”. She always made us feel at home when we saw her, even when she was just doing our hair. Bettie was a living lesson of her Faith in God, that issued Love, Compassion, and Inspiration to all that knew her. Bettie’s beautiful smile, spirit and laughter will live with us always and through you and your families legacy..
