Jeanne Bullock, age 88, of Lithonia, GA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Bullock. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia B. Holcombe and Georgia Jeanne Hill; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Kovtatz. Funeral mass will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain, GA. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a rosary service at 7:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel.

To the family of Mrs.J. Bullock:
I wanted to express my sincere condolence to the family and friends of Mrs. Bullock during this time of loss. It is a sobering time when we reflect on the loss of those we have loved and cared for. I am sure she was respected by many who came to know her as well. However, I wanted to also provide some encouragement from the Holy scriptures of an experience by Jesus. He, too, suffered the loss of a very dear one. It evened pained him deeply. Still, Jesus was empowered by his father to provide comforting words of encouragement and even the ability to reverse the effect of the passing of his friend. When you can, please read in a copy of your Bible of this experience at JOHN 11:5 to 45. It, indeed, can give assured hope for the future. Jesus in the near future shall do such a thing again, but on a much greater scale. May your family provide soothing comfort and affection to one another during this time of loss and reflection.
