Austin Woodruff Chatham, age 31, of Madison, GA passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Austin was a graduate of Collins Hill High School in the Class of 2000 and he attended West Georgia College in 2001 and graduated from Marine Mechanic Institute. He is survived by his wife, Krystle Mathis Chatham; son, Aidan Chatham both of Madison, GA; parents, Charlie and Sherrill Chatham of Oakwood, GA; father and mother-in-law, Rick & Vickie Mathis of Good Hope, GA; sister and brother- in-law, Tiffany & Cole Green and their children, Gavin and Cooper all of Pendergrass, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eric & Leslie Mathis and their children, Mason and Leila all of Monroe, GA; grandmother, Rusty Woodruff of Oakwood, GA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Austin Chatham will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 o'clock at North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA with Rev. Matt Plunkett officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-277-4550.   1. Austin was a special friend growing up as kids, and through the years in high school. My family and I send our deepest condolences, and prayers to the Chatham family. May God rest his sole and he rest in peace.

  6. There are no words to express the overwhelming sadness I feel for your family. I always thought of Austin as one of the good guys. When he used to come by the house he was the first one to give me a big hug. His warmth and kindness will be missed by many.

  9. My heart breaks for this family. Austin was one of the few people who didn’t complain when I asked him for a ride after football and track practice. He was a very genuin person and I still remember when he got his niples pierced when he came to track practice. LOL. I love you with all my heart. A.Chatham. God Bless the Chatham Family.
