Cherilyn Bly Jones (Cher), age 46 of Dacula, GA, passed away of pancreatic cancer on Monday, January 13, 2020. Cher was born on May 20, 1973, in Clarkston, TN. She moved to Georgia in 1979 with her family. She grew up in Lawrenceville and was a 1991 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. Cher worked at Bestway Automotive for 13 years, and was most recently employed with AES for 16 years. Cher was a member of Bethlehem Church for 10 years.

Cher was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Clarence Bly; Aunt Mary Killingstad; and Uncle Jerry Killingstad.

Cher is survived by her son, Hunter Jones; her mother, Cheryl Dillard; her father, Peter Bly, and her “Bonus Mom” Jaretta Bly; Brother, Jamie Bly (Ellen); Niece, Kylie; Nephew, Canden Bly; Niece, Kacie Bly; Step-Brother, TJ Taylor (Sara); Step-Sister, Kelly Gates (Chris); Niece, Emily, and Niece Unicequa. Cher also had an abundance of friends whom loved her as much as she loved them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 8th, 2020, at Bethlehem Church, 548 Christmas Avenue, Bethlehem, GA, 30620

  4. CandleImageCher and I have known each other for over 25 years. She worked with me night after night until sometimes 5:00am then going to work to help me open a tanning salon. She has been an incredible friend and worked for AES 16 years. She was amazing and work was her life after her involvement with church and God! All I can say. Is, thank you for all your love and support for me and my family. I will miss your smiles and laughter every day!
