Cheryl G. Harden, age 65 of Lithonia, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017; born on Friday, October 17, 1952 to the late Thomas R. and Mary Louise Harden. Cheryl worked for the Internal Revenue Service for a number of years to which she had the privilege and joy of helping others; she adored her coworkers who became like family, in addition to her work family she loved her own family and cat Mini-Me that were very important to her. Cheryl was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and faithful child of God. She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael T. Harden. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Harden Brewer and husband, C.R. of IN; brother, Christopher R. Harden and wife, Rebbeca of NC; nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Eric, Terry, and Michael; niece, Michelle; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a special family friend Ralph Ramos. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Wages & Sons Funeral Home Stone Mountain Chapel. A celebration of Cheryl’s life will take place in Indiana at a later date.   4. Cheryl I can’t believe we have known each other since my babies were 7 and 2 years old you made me laugh when I needed it. I will always admire you for telling it like it was . I am going to miss you so much and that laugh of yours that had the whole unit smiling from ear to ear. Well my friend I will keep your tradition of decorating the tree in the unit I can hear you asking me when am I going to decorate for Christmas in the unit. You always seemed to bring me cheer and would say after it was done it looks really good. I really looked forward when you bought us calendars and let us pick the one we wanted you knew who loved pets, landscapes ETC. This I will say you will be missed so much and I give you a hug and a kiss my dear friend , co- worker . I send prayers to your family and I want them to know you were so special and loved .   5. In passing we have always spoken to each other, not knowing that we would become closer in a unit, I will miss the early good morning and late afternoon good-by. May God bless you and family.

  6. Cheryl was so so special to me. She was not just a co-worker, she was family. She was a friend. I will miss her craziness. It’s going to be hard for us as co-worker to return to normal because we are missing a part us. Her legacy in team 201 will live on. I love you Cheryl.
