Deborah Anne Pinkard, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on October 15, 1955, in Chamblee, GA, Deborah spent her life as a dedicated homemaker and nurturer to her family, while pursuing her many passions, including gardening, baking, and crafting.

Deborah was known for her remarkable green thumb, bringing plants back to life with ease and care. She also had a deep love for animals, often taking in any stray that crossed her path. Her eye for detail, hard work, and determination were present in every aspect of her life, from her family to her hobbies. Above all, she was cherished by her loved ones for her loyalty, nurturing spirit, and the unconditional love she gave to those around her.

Deborah’s family will always remember her as a caretaker, making them feel loved, safe, and cared for. Her home was a place of warmth and kindness, where she dedicated herself to ensuring the happiness of others. She also had a few business adventures, always working hard in everything she pursued.

Deborah was married to Donald Pinkard for 52 years, and together they built a beautiful family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Anne Wallace and Emmett G. Wigley; her sons, Christopher Brian Pinkard and Donald Jr. Pinkard. She is survived by her husband, Donald Pinkard; her children, Larry M. Pinkard, Emmett S. Pinkard, and Julie L. Jinks (Jared); her sisters, Delza R. Powers and Elizabeth L. Duncan; her brothers, Nathan E. Wigley and Tim Willerson (Tonya); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her deeply.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.

Deborah’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always treasure the love, strength, and joy she brought into their lives.
