Lawrenceville, GA – Diana Montgomery – age 78, a current resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia, but a native of Evansville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Diana was born October 1, 1943, in Evansville, IN to the late Ruth and Taylor Patrick. On June 1st, 1966, Diana married Paul Montgomery, an Indiana State Policeman and the young couple settled in New Harmony, IN where Diana soon became an accomplished member of the renowned Red Geranium Restaurant staff – until her husband’s 2nd career took her first to Indianapolis, then Atlanta, to Los Angeles and finally back to metro Atlanta area.

To know this wonderful, sassy, bubbly women was to love her – she positively impacted so many. She brought joy to all who met her, and she was cherished by her loving family as an aunt, sister, wife, mother and especially as a grandmother to her six grandchildren.

Diana is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul R. Montgomery, daughters Elizabeth J. Montgomery (Atlanta), Angela M. Whaley (Statesboro, GA), son Brian P. Montgomery (Lawrenceville, GA), Brother Richard Patrick (Mt. Vernon, IN), and six Grandchildren – three boys, three girls.
