Donald (Don) Steve Mosteller, 72, of Lilburn, Georgia passed away at his home on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Don was bom on January 5, 1952 to the late Daniel L. Mosteller and Ruby Kate Hallman in North Carolina; his father moved the family to Atlanta when Don was around nine years old, where he grew up with his dad, stepmom, Loretta Sims Mosteller, and three brothers (Gary, Danny, and Joel). Don attended school at Cross Keys.

Don served a short stint in the United States Air Force where he was injured and had to return home. After returning to Atlanta, he worked for Walter H. Hopkins Company for more than 35 years as a lead installer of Spacesaver Mobile Filing & Storage Systems.

Don loved to fish, hunt, and camp. He also loved to ride dirt bikes.

His father, mother, stepmom, and two brothers, Danny Jeffrey and Gary Michael Mosteller, preceded Don in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 26 years, Judy Mosteller of Lilburn, Georgia; one son, Michael (Karen) Mosteller of Marietta, Georgia; one daughter, Amanda (Jarrad) Smith of Monroe, Georgia; two stepdaughters, Cassandra (Thomas) Mabe of Twin Falls, Idaho, and MeLena (Jeff) Ott of Slocomb, Alabama. Six grandchildren; Elisabeth, Alana, and Rebekah Mosteller; Dexter, Trevor, and Vivian Smith. Six step grandchildren; Chelsea (Ricky) Phillips, Meagan (Sarah) Ross, Benjamin Tyson, Nicholas (Zoey) Tyson, Greyson and Mackenzie Chambliss. Four step great grandchildren, Jaidan Ross, Madalynne Moore, Raelynn Miles, and Blakeleigh Phillips. One brother, Joel (Dawn) Mosteller, of Cumming, Georgia. One nephew. Josh Mosteller; one niece, Donna Mosteller Jones, a host of cousins and friends, and the mother of his children, Sharon (Joe) Windsor.
