Guestbook

  1. Donald, Ole Boy, you went before your time. You will be missed by many, too numerous to list. When you pass thru the gates to Heaven; don’t forget to look up Wayne, Levi, and Jerry and all of the others from Bethesda and plan one more camping trip to Pigeon Island. I will never forget when we tried to get gas out of a bull dozer for the old Plymouth and found out it was diesel, a bummer. Nor the time you made some Black Powder for a rocket and it went off to early and you had black powder freckles for a couple of years. Farewell my friend and Bethesda brother, glad we had the long phone conversation week before last.
    Farewell My Friend.

  2. We’re so sorry about your sudden loss. Don”s presence will be missed in the neighborhood. We’re here if you need us. – your neighbors at 670.

  3. I will miss Don and our talks very much. I’m so sorry for your loss. You and Don have always been wonderful neighbors and friends. Call me too if you need anything.

  4. To Dawna:
Loved our short visit and can’t wait to have more time together. I was remembering today all the times we spent at the tiny apartment in Riverdale, and Don providing the way for me to be at your wedding. You know this, but remember he is not only in your past, but he is in your future! We will keep praying for you, Helen and all the family. I love you!

  5. Hi Uncle Don. Well, I guess you’re up there with Grandaddy and Mama Belle taking you into their arms, Sydney bossing you around, Trev hatching up yet another plan for mischief, and Patsy–my mom–trying but failing to get you three kids to behave. I’ll never forget your exuberant energy, whether as a teenager hanging from the trees at Cedar Hammock, as a young father to two beautiful girls, or as man who wouldn’t let cancer stop him from volunteering to count the dolphin population in the tidal creeks of Savannah. You will missed here on earth.
