Beth graduated from Charleston High School and went on to attend Fairmont State College. Her passion for community involvement was evident in her dedication to the Atlanta Chapter of the American Bell Association, where she shared her love for bell collecting with others. She was also a recognized leader within the Boy Scouts of America, where she received honors for her outstanding service in Troup County. Her volunteer spirit extended to the St. George Fire Department in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was acknowledged for her numerous contributions.

Her work life was equally varied, with roles as an HR Secretary, office manager, and in guest services with Show Pros. No matter the task, Beth approached it with quiet determination and a genuine desire to bring happiness to those around her.
