Glenda Joan Roddy (1940-2022) passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022, at the age of 81. She worked for over 40 years as a emergency room registered nurse. She was always ready to help someone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents Perry and Lois Kennedy, her husband Ronald Roddy, sister Joyce Hutchinson, brother Robert Kennedy. She leaves behind her sister Patricia Green-Hamrick, a daughter Deborah Rowell, son Philip Merrill, three grandchildren Sarah Begay, Josh Edwards, Julia Rowell and seven great grandchildren, one nephew Michael Jay Green, three nieces Pam Hutchinson Bergklnt, Angela Hutchinson Heitz, Sylvia Hutchinson Norris.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

My heart aches to hear you of her passing. Aunt Joan was an amazing and caring person! We love you!
So sad to hear that Joan had such health issues at the end of her life. Today she has a new body, a new mind and is seeing sights that we an only imagine. I have such a strong memory of a photo of her wearing her nurses cap. She worked hard to pursue that dream and she served many people with her skills and compassion. Thank you for being a loving sister attentive to her. Oh, the hope of a joyous reunion some day!! Hugs!
