William C. Hay age 80 of Lawrenceville passed away January 25, 2013. Mr. Hay served in the U. S. Marines and retired after 30 plus years with the State of Georgia. He was a lifetime member of the Good Samaritans Club and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather he is survived by his wife of 58 years Harriet H. Hay; daughters, Nan Shipe and her husband Jerry of Heath, TX, Vicky Leyva and her husband Edward of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Shannon Sears. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bethesda UMC. Rev. John Whatley and Rev. John Hobbs will officiate. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Diabetes Association. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. 770-277-4550.

I know he was a wonderful part of your lives. Bill was a sweet man, a great husband and father.
