Helen Maynard Duren of Stone Mountain, passed away Friday August 26, 2022 at the age of 99. Mrs. Duren was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Ross Duren, Parents Herman and Nellie Maynard, Son Pat and Daughter Debbie, survivors include children- Sandra Dalton, Jimmy Duren (Joyce), Scott Duren (Brenda), Cheryl Duren. 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchild, as well as several Nieces and Nephews.

My sympathies to the Duren family in the loss of their Mother/Grandmother. I met Helen and Cheryl through my uncle, Bradley Wilson when they were neighbors and she was a sweet lady and he thought the world of her. Prayers for all during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Ms. Helen passing. Mom was her roommate at Park Place, Barbara Keathley. We loved Ms. Helen greatly and will miss her. Mom would love to see you all if you’d like to visit. So sorry for your loss. Hugs to you all.
