Born in: Baltimore, Maryland
Resided in: Old Hickory, Tennessee

John “Johnny” and James “Jimmy” were born November 8, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland.

As the mom of twin boys I used to watch them take things apart and put them back together. Jimmy would often take apart plastic toys, cars, etc. and take them to Johnny to put them back together.

Both Jimmy and Johnny played little league ball as youngsters in a local park in Maryland. When they became teenagers, they quickly traded in their sport for a love of cars and racing.

Johnny became a master tech mechanic and Jimmy became an A-tech body and fender, paint and repair mechanic. As they both got older they also enjoyed fishing, hunting and outdoors with many friends.

Johnny and Jimmy both worked all their adult lives in the car industry. Eventually they landed in Tennessee with Carvana/Drivetime. Johnny was hired seven years ago and transferred to the Nashville area and absolutely loved it there. He showed us tons of pictures and was happy.

Not to long ago Jimmy followed and transferred to Carvana to the Nashville area about five to six weeks ago. He was also enjoying the new job and happy with his new life in Nashville and at Carvana.
Usually whatever one did, the twin wasn’t far away.

Johnny was born first and Jimmy five minutes after. Almost the same in their passing, Johnny passed August 4, 2021, Jimmy passed exactly a week after August 11, 2021.

Johnny and Jimmy came into this world together and now they go out together. They will be buried in Georgia. I am certain they are fishing streams and golden tracks with fast cars in HEAVEN!

Rest easy my sweet sons!

  1. Johnny you have left a great void in my heart. me and you and your brothers all grew up together. once moving away from Baltimore for five years we never really caught up as we should have. For that I’m truly sorry a phone call or text once in a while. Seems enough but it surely wasn’t I hope to gather again some day and start all over again till then I’ll have some memories to keep me smiling.

  2. I had the privilege to be friends with both of these guys. Me and John worked DriveTime and Carvana for the last few years and Jimmy was a great guy also. The Carvana Nashville IC will miss both of you greatly.
