Joyce Lynn (Whitmoyer) Skiba, resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away August 30, 2017.       Born in Noblesville, Indiana on July 23, 1947, she was raised in Fishers, Indiana, and spent much of her in life in the Indianapolis area. Joyce assembled trimline phones, microchips and fiber optics during her 30-year career with AT&T, prior to her retirement in 1996. Throughout her life, Joyce was an avid gardener, a lover of animals, a donor to charitable causes, and enjoyed travel. Joyce was very devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony Skiba, daughters Jennifer Slusser (Nelson) and Becky Skiba, brother Joe Whitmoyer (Sue), sister Pam Stoudt (Frank), niece Lindsay Stoudt, and nephew Ryan Stoudt. Viewing and memorial services will be held at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA. Visitation will be Friday, September 1st, from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm. Memorial service will be Saturday, September 2nd, at 10:00am, with interment to follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Atlanta Humane Society @ atlantahumane.org, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital @ stjuderecovery.org.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.

  9. Joyce and her family lived just a field away from my family in Fishers, IN. There are 7 children in my family and Joyce was our favorite babysitter when our parents had a date night. God speed, dear Joyce, you will be missed!
