Born in:
Mansa, India
Resided in:
Duluth, Georgia
Kanti B. Patel passed away at age 79 in Brazil while happily vacationing with his devoted wife, Shakariben. Kanti was born in India on May 17, 1937. As the eldest of six siblings, Kanti served as a guide and protector for the rest of his family. He obtained a M.S. in Physics and taught as a professor at a prestigious university in India. At a young age he traveled to America to provide his family with more promising opportunities than the village-life had to offer. To this day, he has impacted the lives of so many people in a positive way and provided them with a lifestyle that was so far-fetched from anything they could have imagined. He will be missed dearly and forever loved by every individual he ever encountered; they will always remember him for his selflessness and kind nature. Family was his temple. Love was his strength. Helping others was his passion. Hard work and education was his motto.
Kanti was a dear friend and a great man. I will miss him greatly. He was kind and always a gentleman.
