Karen was born in Riverside California where she grew up and went to school. She went to La Sierra High School and started college at Riverside Community while there she met Benjamin Peoples. They married after a year of dating. They raised a family of two children a son David and a daughter Laura. Karen loved both her children and taught them the correct principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She leaves to remember her legacy her husband Benjamin Peoples her son David and his wife Diana and their four children Dallin, Tanner, Alana and Logan. Her daughter Laura Peoples and Laura’s 3 children Gregory, Tyler and Scarlett. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She also enjoyed teaching primary children and genuinely loved each child she taught. In her church career she served most of her time in Primary. She was an ordinance worker for about 6 years and Family History Director for 3 years. She also helped her father with transcription of church letters he dictated while he was in a Stake Presidency.

She worked for the Press Enterprise newspaper as a legal clerk doing obituaries when she moved out here to be with her children, she did the same with the local paper in Lawrenceville.

We cherish our memories of her and know it is only but a brief moment before we are reunited.
