Keith Almond Dixon, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, at the age of 64, as a resident of Lawrenceville, GA. Born on January 26, 1960, in Harlingen, TX, Keith lived a life marked by generosity, dedication to family, and a passion for helping others.

Keith worked as a large truck driver and mechanic, demonstrating both skill and a strong work ethic throughout his career. His love for technology led him to enjoy hobbies related to IT, where he found great satisfaction in working on phones, computers, and anything that required a technical touch.

A member of the Gwinnett County Senior Center in Lawrenceville, GA, Keith found joy in connecting with his community. He was also affiliated with Church on Main in Snellville, GA, where his faith guided his actions and his commitment to others. Known for his giving nature, Keith was always ready to lend a helping hand, making him a cherished friend and confidant to many.

Keith’s family was his pride and joy. He made them feel needed, loved, and important, fostering deep bonds of love and support. His friends and loved ones will remember him for his unwavering generosity, his commitment to family, and his kind, giving spirit.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, Horace Fleming Dixon; mother, Martha Geraldine Dixon; and brother, Steve Dixon.

He is survived by his sister, Pam Cain; brother-in-law, O.D. Cain III; niece, Amanda Cain; nephew, Bobby Lord, and niece-in-law, Jane Lord; nephew, David Cain, and niece-in-law, Jennifer Cain; wife, Mandy Dixon; daughter, Christina Thompson, and son-in-law, Mikeal Thompson; daughter, Kayleigh Dixon; and three grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to “Breaking Chains of Medical Debt,” a campaign created by Joint Heirs Fellowship of Church on Main.

Keith’s legacy of love, generosity, and commitment to those he held dear will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
