Marietta, GA – Mr. Joseph Patrick Kennedy of Marietta, GA entered into rest on Thursday, February 14, 2013.
Pat was born in Blackville, SC on November 30, 1933 to parents Grover Cleveland Kennedy and Annie Blanche Peters. Pat graduated from Atlanta area O'Keefe High School in 1953. After serving in the US Army, Pat was a mechanic for Lockheed before joining Mead Packaging where he served in various positions for 30 years.
Pat was an avid golfer, baseball fan and a charter member of the Roswell based Romeo Club. Pat was well liked for his sharp humor and generosity.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian, and his parents. Survivors include his three sons; Christopher and his wife, Carol Kennedy; Michael and his wife, Dorothy Kennedy; and Andrew Patrick Kennedy. Siblings; James, Frances, John and Larry. Grandchildren; Josh, Kristen, Lindsey, Heather, Ryann, Natalie and Summerlyn Faith. Great Grandchildren; Collin, Christian, Claira, Ava and Summerlynn Jean.

So sorry to lose another schoolmate but so happy to know Pat is out of pain and home with our Lord. We pray God’s comfort to those left behind.
Saw Pat’s passing in paper – sorry to hear this. I worked at Mead with Pat for several years. At one time Pat worked for me – I was Natl Service Mgr at Mach Div. Always liked Pat and am sure you will miss him much.
