Lenny proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force, where he earned the respect and admiration of all those who served alongside him. His commitment to his country reflected his deep love for it, and his patriotism was evident in all that he did. While he was in the military, Lenny worked as a Cost and Management Analyst from 1967 to 1988, a role in which he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and sharp mind.

Those who knew Lenny will remember him as a loving, thoughtful, and comforting man with a heart full of kindness. His infectious smile, sense of humor, and positive attitude brightened the lives of everyone around him. A true family man, Lenny placed the needs and happiness of his loved ones above all else. He worked tirelessly to make his family feel safe, secure, and deeply loved. His easy going nature made him a joy to be around, and his unwavering support made everyone feel valued and appreciated.

Lenny had a wide range of interests, and he found joy in simple pleasures. He cherished time spent with family and friends, particularly at the beach, on cruises, or playing cards. He loved sports, working in his yard, and watching movies—activities that brought him joy and relaxation. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Lenny is preceded in death by his father, Leonard C. Geibel, Sr., and his mother, Bonnie L. Geibel. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Geibel; his sons, Leonard C. Geibel III (Julie), Glenn Geibel, and Mark Geibel; his grandsons, Leonard C. Geibel IV, Jack Geibel, and Max Geibel; his sister, Gail Zanoni (Don); his brothers, Dave Geibel (Ellen) and Steve Geibel; his sister Holly Sussager (Douglas); his grandson, Caden; and his granddaughter, Reese. He will also be missed by numerous extended family members, friends, and colleagues.

Lenny’s legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community, and he will never be forgotten.
