Mary F. (Kluge) Huset

Mary F. (Kluge) Huset, age 89, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, in Lawrenceville, GA.

Mary was born on October 2, 1934, in Madison, WI, to Edwin F. and Kitzy M. (Dickerson) Kluge. She married Donald D. Huset on June 12, 1954, in Madison, WI, and they shared a loving and fulfilling life together.

During the time that Mary and Donald were living and raising their children in Sun Prairie, Mary worked closely with her brother Roger at Mr. Mac’s/76 Truck stop in Windsor.

An avid sports fan, she played softball in her younger years and carried her love for sports throughout her life.

After Mary retired to Sun City, AZ, she generously volunteered at the Valley View Community Food Bank, helping those in need and making a positive impact on her community.

In 2016 Mary moved to Lawrenceville, GA, to live with her loving son Mike.

She enjoyed spending her free time working jigsaw puzzles, birdwatching, and playing cards with friends and family.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, her great laugh, and her contagious smile that could light up any room. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.,

Mary is survived by her loving children; Dan Huset of Phoenix, AZ, Mike Huset of Lawrenceville, GA, Jim Huset of Oregon, WI, and Connie (Brad) Collins of Marshall WI; siblings; Donald Kluge of Chicago, IL, Ken Kluge of Jacksonville, FL; 6 beautiful grandchildren and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald, siblings; Roger Kluge, Dennise Kluge, Margie Anderson.
