He was born on June 18, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, and lived a full and vibrant life marked by a deep love for family, adventure, and the outdoors.

Michael graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland and went on to attend Reed College, where he began to build a foundation for his future career and life. He became a successful real estate agent, known for his dedication, professionalism, and deep connections with his clients and colleagues.

A Christian by faith, Michael’s values of kindness, integrity, and service shaped every aspect of his life. He loved the outdoors and could often be found sailing, snow skiing, camping, and enjoying nature. Whether on the water, the slopes, or around a campfire, Michael embraced life with enthusiasm and an infectious spirit that made him a joy to be around. His charisma and charm lit up every room, and he was always the first to include others, ensuring that no one ever felt left out in social settings.

Michael was an active member of his community, involved in family, clubs, and various organizations. His warmth and outgoing nature left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Millen, who was his partner in life and love for many years.

Michael is survived by his son, Justin Michael Millen, daughter-in-law, Cindy Asencios Millen, and granddaughter, Ashley Erin Millen.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

Michael will be remembered for his warmth, his infectious sense of humor, and the unwavering love he showed to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a life well-lived.
