MOSS Loretta Hogsed Moss age 74 went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was retired from Chevron Oil Company as a Marketing Assistant. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Mayden and Gertrude Hogsed and brothers, Ray, Jack, Eugene and James Hogsed. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Huey P. Moss, Dacula, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Ken Gittens, Lawrenceville, GA; grandson, Tyler Strickland, Lawrenceville, GA; step-granddaughters, Kaleigh and Chelsea Gittens and step-great grandson, Jaden Stump, Gainesville, GA; brother, Farrell Hogsed, Marietta, GA; sister, Willette Galloway, Hayesville, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, May 14, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel and Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home in Hayesville, NC. A funeral service will held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Dr. Allen Madden officiating. Burial will follow at Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery in Hayesville, NC. in lieu of flowers please make donations to Bethabara Cemetery Fund C/O Carroll Anderson 1376 Bethabara Rd.
