Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Newana was the first person I met at Redan Elementary in Mrs Rader’s 1st grade. The teacher made two rings of students, one inner and an outer ring facing. Then you were to give your name to the one facing you, and move clockwise all the way around introducing yourself to each other. So I reckon that’s my longest lasting friend on earth. You just don’t get many moments like that in life, and I’ll sure miss her. Facebook has been our final mode of communication. All good things must end, like 2 heros in a story.

  2. You will be greatly missed Newana. You were always smiling and cutting-up… such a joy to be around and an honor to be your friend. Grateful to CEJCO for giving almost 40 years of friendship.
We love you! The Cofers: Michael, Jan, Josh and family.

  3. I met Newana when I dated her brother many years ago. My fondest memory is sitting at her kitchen table. She had a way of making you feel so welcomed. Although I moved across the country and our time spent together was not as often, we could always just pick up where we left off. I will miss those cherished moments. We are all blessed to have had Newana in our lives.

  4. As my childhood nextdoor neighbor, Newana was always welcoming us to play at her house, yard or in the playhouse. Always with a kind smile & encouraging words. My heart aches for Janna and Robin. Love you. I’m thankful we have stayed in touch over the years.
