Mrs. Peggy Meads Moseley was the daughter of former Augusta Fire Chief Ernest H. Meads and Louise Brady Meads (deceased). She is survived by her brother, Gene B. Meads, Sr., and sister-in-law Carolyn King Meads who currently reside in the Augusta, GA, area. Her nieces Caralynne Meads Gill, Gena Meads Griffin, Beth Meads Loyal, Rebecca Meads Malone, Leah Meads Hofstadter and nephew, Gene Brady Meads, Jr., will miss her so very much. Aunt Peggy was a graduate of Tubman High School in Augusta and leaves behind numerous family and friends in the Augusta area and all over the country. Her infectious laughter, gift for telling family stories and love of our very large and outgoing family will be greatly missed. Her brother, Gene, is deeply saddened by the loss of his only sister and beloved friend.
Peggy was a great friend to my mother, Mary Thomiszer, and a loving partner to my dad, Frank Thomiszer, after my mom’s passing. She was loved by us all, and we will miss her amazing spirit, upbeat personality and warm smile….
I am a friend of Matt and Teisha Moseley. Teisha has always spoken so highly of Peggy and how wonderful their relationship was over all the years that Matt and Teisha have been married. Peggy was a very loving mother-in-law to Teisha and will be profoundly missed by the family. My thoughts and prayers to Matt, Teisha and all of the family.
