Diane Staton Quattlebaum, 64 of Lawrenceville passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 after a 21 year battle with lung cancer. Diane is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Elizabeth Staton and brother David Staton. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Randy Quattlebaum; daughters Brandy Swanson and her husband Greg, Kimberly Quattlebaum, Charity Boulton and her husband Michael; brother Gerald Bagley, grandchildren Brittany 18, Andrew 13, Brooke 12, Elizabeth 8, Sarah 6, Sophia 2 as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winship Lung Cancer Fund, 1762 Clifton Rd. N.E. Ste. 1400 Atlanta, GA 30322-1710. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 4 o'clock at Campus Church of Christ in Lilburn with interment to follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville. Fellowship will follow the graveside service at Campus Church of Christ in the dining hall. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.

  1. Diane was a sweet angel of God and will be missed by many. She was an inspiration to us all. She got such joy out of beating Randy in Bowling. She will remain in our hearts always.

  2. We regret that we are not there to give you our condolences in person. Our good thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God give you the strength that you need in these coming days. Diane’s love of life, family and will to live will be with us always. The love and devotion shown to her by Randy and family will be an example to all of us as we face the future.

  3. We loved Diane so much and will miss her spirit and love of family. She has been an inspiration to us all. To know her was to love her. So glad Randy brought her into our family 46 years ago. Prayers for Randy, Brandy, Kim, Charity and Mimi’s grandchildren will continue.

  19. Sorry to hear of Dianes passing. I had met Diane through my mom Brenda Rees who also lost her fight with lung cancer in Feb. Diane was an inspiration to us. My heart goes out to you and your family.
