I will insert service information here.

It’s with great sadness that our father has left this earth but rejoice and sing praises that he has gone home and we will see him again. Dad battled bladder cancer with the same integrity, courage, and strength he demonstrated every day of his life. His life was defined by God first and service to others, this was a passion deeply imbedded in his heart. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was an active member in the Masonic Lodge activities, Shriners Circus, and the Shriners Hospital, if there was a want, a need or a wish he would do his best to make it happen.

He was amazing and a very knowledgeable man. Career minded his mission was to help make the world a better place; he worked at the Space Center for RCA – Apollo Space Program. He returned back to college to receive an Electrical Engineer degree from University of Miami and was employed by Bellsouth to work on the fiber optic project.  My understanding is that he applied for these projects because of the purpose that others would benefit from them.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, & grandfather. Time for family and friends was a priority. He was our role model. He was the finest man that any of us will ever know. A devoted Christian man who taught us how to love and give from the heart. He will be in our hearts and daily lives forever.

There are many areas of Dad’s life that we never knew he was a part of because he believed that lending a hand was just between God and him.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Ralph’s memory may be made to the Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund, 400 Ponce De Leon Avenue, N.E Atlanta, Georgia 30308.

Guestbook

  1. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. I hope the words found at Revelation 21:4 brings comfort.

  2. Julie and I had the pleasure to know and be friends with Ralph and Sue for many years through Scottish Rite. Ralph and Bill had a common interest in Boy Scouts in general and Eagle Scouts in particular. We enjoyed our monthly dinners with them at Scottish Rite.
