Robert James Rizner, known affectionately as Bob, passed away surrounded by family at home on April 19, 2024, in Lawrenceville, GA, at the age of 86. He was born in Detroit, MI on June 7, 1937.
Bob dedicated much of his work life to Piedmont National Packaging Company in Atlanta, GA, where he worked until his retirement in June 2017, at the remarkable age of 80. He attended Central High School and served in the Navy as an Airman, responsible for distributing maps, charts and photographic equipment to seaplane pilots flying from Japan to Korea.
An avid golfer and a devoted sports fan, Bob loved watching the Braves and was a big football fan of UGA and the University of Michigan. He loved his coffee and donuts, and playing the lottery!
