Rebecca Becky Banks Rozar, wife of John Rozar and sister of Robin Banks, died on Thursday, December 6th. She was born in Decatur and lived in Georgia for most of her life. She was a public school teacher for special ed. children for six years and homeschooled each of her four children, Matthew, Amy, Katherine, and Laura, all the way through high school. She touched many lives and was loved by everyone who knew her. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 9th, at 2 PM in the event barn at Nash Farm Park 4361 Jonesboro Road, Hampton, GA 30228. Please bring a covered dish. Anyone who wants to can share a memory about her. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society https://www.lls.org/waystohelp/donate/.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you on Sunday and over the days and months of transition.
God’s richest blessings to you all.
While we mourn the loss of our friend, a new star shines brightest in the night…
…for, perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
…We will always cherish the memories of her kindness and generosity – She surely shall be missed.
She was a lovely and gracious lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Walter and Susan Smith niece of Fred Oxford
