Dennis C. Rupp, age 80, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away Monday, May 2nd 2011. He is survived by his wife, Judith Carolyn Rupp; Daughters; Penny Yancey of Lawrenceville, Ga., Vicki Causey of Bonaire, Ga., Becky Stephenson of Cumming, Ga. and son, Steven Rupp of Grayson, Ga. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother, Darrell Rupp of Kansas City, MO. Dennis had a long and successful career in the insurance industry. He was an avid boater and enjoyed wood working. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Shallowford Road Presbyterian Church - 2375 Shallowford Rd. Atlanta, Ga. 30345. Arrangements by Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel - 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046. 770-277-4550. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for the 2011 tornado victims.

Your father and his projects were very influential in my life I.e. Wooden speedboat, Houseboat My dad and Dennis had a shared interest in many things when we were growing up and I enjoyed being around both of them very much. Sincerely, Johnny!
I knew him most of my life and he was always good to me.
I am so sad to hear about Dennis; what a wonderful man he was; taught me a lot about hard work, glad I got to work for him for several years. May he rest in peace and may God give comfort to the family and his friends.
Judy, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Dennis. Our cousin Bob Durham sent me a notice of the happening. Bob said he communicated periodically with Dennis by email as he does with me. Peace be with you and your family.
