Inez Morgan Smith age 87 of Lawrenceville died on April 21, 2013 at 6:30am. She was a life long resident of Gwinnett County. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church of Lawrenceville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, J.D. Smith, her son Greg Smith and brother Carrol Morgan. She is survived by her sister and brother in law Runelle and Reid Atkinson, granddaughter Ali Johnson and her husband Keith, grandson Alden Smith, great grandsons Kyle and Cory Johnson and several nephews and nieces and cousins. Family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm Tuesday April 23rd 2013 with a funeral service at 1pm Wednesday April 24th at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel followed by interment at Gwinnett Memorial park. Miss Inez was a very special person. She will be greatly missed by all, we know we will miss her. So glad she had loving family to take care of her and her last wishes were taken care of. We know she is happy to be with her other loved ones that have gone before her.

Inez was my Aunt Mamie’s daughter and much older than I but was much loved by her family. Heaven will be rejoicing at her coming. She was a beautiful lady that has left her mark on this world. She will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained another beautiful Angel. RIP
