Sylvia Dianne Moore, age 81, of Auburn, Georgia, passed away on November 27, 2024. She was born on July 30, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Dianne was a woman of many talents and passions. At the age of 53, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Arts and a Photography Diploma, reflecting her lifelong commitment to learning. Throughout her life, Dianne wore many hats—she was a devoted homemaker, a talented photographer, the owner of a dress shop, and a real estate agent. Her love for creativity was matched by her love for others, which she expressed in every role she embraced.

A member of Hebron Baptist Church for many years, Dianne’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and browsing Goodwill stores, finding joy in simple pleasures. Dianne was an ardent animal lover, and had a love for singing and a witty humor that couldn’t be matched. Dianne was known for her selflessness and her ability to make those around her feel supported and loved. She was the best mom in the world, always ready with a listening ear, thoughtful advice, and a heart full of unconditional love.

Dianne’s greatest joy was being a wife, mom, and grammy. She loved her family with all her heart and was their biggest encourager. Her home was a place of comfort, a safe haven where family gathered, and where her selfless love left a lasting impact on all who entered. She opened her home, her time, and her heart to many, offering support to those in need and always putting others first. Dianne was a role model for all, showing through her actions what it meant to live a life of honor, compassion, and faith.

Her love extended beyond her family—she was a regular visitor at nursing homes, offering care and companionship to those who were lonely. Her warm presence brightened the lives of many, and her legacy of kindness and giving will never be forgotten.

Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald James Moore.
