Peggy Lee Todd

Peggy Lee Todd, 85, entered her heavenly home on January 6, 2013. Peggy was born in Tampa, Florida on October 6, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lee Head and Marjorie McNealy Head McGee; a sister, Faye Head Stephens; and her loving husband of almost 63 years, Raymond Edward Ed Todd. Mrs. Todd is survived by her daughters, Shirley Herren Stanley of Bethlehem; Connie Bailey Greg of Loganville; and Joyce Bagley of Buford; five grandchildren, LeAnn Herren Doyle, Mark Herren, Jason Shutley, Samantha and Jessica Bagley; five great grandchildren, Kaylee and Victoria Doyle, Brendon Shutley, and Tristen and Addisen Conley; and numerouse nieces and nephews. Peggy attended Girls High School and began her working career in the insurance business in the late 1940's. Beginning in 1954 her husband began working in the car interior business where she joined him as co-owner of Custom Craft Seat Cover Co. in Decatur and Tucker, until her retirement in 1999. Prior to her illness in 2008, Peggy loved to travel with her girls and made many trips to Daytona Beach, Atlantic City, Tunica and Las Vegas for casino activity along with going to the dog tracks. She played bingo 6 times a week in the nursing home where she had resided for the past 4-1/2 years. Mrs. Todd's memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon with family and friends gathering at 12:00 o'clock noon for remembrances at Wages & Sons Funeral Home Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 770-277-4550.
