Tony Waldrop, age 59, of Lawrenceville, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Waldrop; children, Alicia Waldrop and Luke Waldrop; mother, Mary Gollus; step dad, Skip Gollus; brother, Ricky Mewborn; sister, Karen Bryan; brother, Benny Waldrop; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. My heart and prayers go out to the whole family. I know what you have been through, at least part of it and I know the pain. TG was a wonderful man, person and soul that will be missed by so many. Cancer is an ugly thing that creeps into your life when you least expect it, I’m so sorry it seized upon your family. He always commented about how much he loved his family and how lucky he was, I think everyone was fortunate to have such a loving family. I will miss his humor, his music posts and seeing his name when I scrolled through Facebook. I will miss you my friend and am thankful that at least now there is no pain. Tell Chip I said “Hey” and miss him always.

Tony was a great friend to so many! I will certainly miss his jokes, music posts, and him just “checking” on me. He was always speaking so highly of his family and loved them so much. I am so thankful that we were friends way back in high school and that we reconnected on Facebook. We had some great conversations about the good ol days and memories of days long gone. Prayers for all who knew and loved Tony.. We will all miss him. RIP Tony!
