Wilfred (Bill) R Sanford died peacefully June 18th of a brain stroke. Bill is survived by his wife, (of 36 years), Kathy, daughter Vicci, 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his son Lenny.

Bill loved life, family, the Masonic lodge and its chapters and the Army.

Bill was a kind and giving person, always willing to assist anyone in time of need.

Bill lived a fulfilling life and will be greatly missed.

The family wishes to convey their appreciation to the many neighbors, Grady personnel and Harbor Grace hospice for their kindness and care they showed Bill.

Special thank you to Kathy’s sister Cecelia and husband Ronnie Maney, brother Charlie & wife Erica Kitts and niece Jeanine Chambers.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Masonic Children’s home in Macon, GA would be appreciated

He stepped When he did not have to. Not only for me but for anyone! He would’ve given the shirt off his back. He had the greatest heart and soul.
    I will forever be grateful and forever hold on to the many memories we shared together! You were such a kind, and loving man who’s memory will forever live. I love you popeye!
