Patricia Bird Propes, 81, widow of Delmar Dallas Propes died on Wednesday January 11, 2018 due to causes incident to old age. Born on March 3, 1936 she was the second of three daughters born to William Andrew and Elma Leonora Bird in Crawfordville, GA. She was a homemaker most of her life. She is remembered as someone who was thoughtful of others. She is survived by 5 children, Sandy Gregory of Atlanta, George Propes of Ellenwood, Gayle Denton of Atlanta, Linda Glazier of Winder, and William Propes of Suwanee. She had 16 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Sleep in peace, mama, and rest from your long, hard journey.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. When someone we love dies it causes Pain and sorrow. Though we personally have never seen anyone raised from the dead, we have certain Scriptures that assure us of the resurrection. Jesus said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29). We can also, comforted by the hope expressed by the upright man Job: He will call; The dead will answer (Job 14:13-15). To know that there is a better future awaiting those we have lost in death, where the issues, such as sickness and death that plague us today, will be things of the past is comforting. I hope these scriptures give you strength to endure the difficult days ahead.
We were saddened to hear about your mother’s passing. We hope you will find comfort in knowing you will see her again &
that she is on a new “journey” now. We have truly valued her friendship thru the years. I have notified her friends that still
live in Forest Park ;& they send their condolences to you also.
My memories of Pat and your family go back many years. Where does the time go? May the Lord bless and comfort you in this time or sorrow.
