Zebbie L. Smith, age 79 of Hodges, SC formerly of Atlanta passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 of natural causes. Zebbie retired from New York & Company after 46 years of service, and was an avid quilt maker. She is survived by son, Joseph Scott Smith and daughter, Karen Michelle Williams; brother, Jimmy McCurry and sister, Pamela Robbins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA. Such a wonderful person and mother. I have fond memories of Mama Zebbie. My sincerest condolences to you all. May she RIP!
She was like a momma to me and I will miss her silly jokes and gow tickled she would get. I love you and prayers are lifted for the family.
I am sorry for your loss. God is the source of life and an enemy of death. His Word can encourage us and help strengthen us during difficult times like this. Acts 24:15 gives a beautiful hope of a resurrection for those we have sadly lost in death. May God give the family and friends comfort now, and in the days ahead.
carry on without them but act 25:15 helps us to appreciate that there will be a ressurection and soon we will be reunited with our loved ones again my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
