In Loving Memory of Alexander Stewart Wilson.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Alex Wilson on March 31, 2026, at the age of 27.

Alex was born on May 31, 1998, in Melbourne, Florida, and was raised in the Catholic Church. He grew up on the baseball field, starting at age four and playing into his teenage years. He was a devoted big brother and role model to his little brother, Michael. In addition to his rigorous high school coursework and developing his own friendships, he always made time for Michael, playing catch, football, and soccer, and often stepped in as an assistant coach on his teams. He was an avid sports fan, and he especially loved golfing and watching the Dallas Cowboys with his Dad.

An exceptional student with a terrific work ethic, Alex graduated with honors from Timber Creek High School in 2016, where he balanced his academics with time on the golf team. He graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University in 2020 with a degree in Finance. After college, he settled in Atlanta with the love of his life, Rebekah, first working with his aunt and uncle and most recently with IHG Hotels and Resorts.

Deeply loved by all who knew him, Alex was a bright light whose kind heart, quick wit, and effortless sense of humor made an impression everywhere he went. He loved a good debate, and his hilarious impersonations were always a favorite among family and friends. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and at ease, and his laughter was something you did not forget. Alex loved spending time with family and friends, and he lived in a way that brought joy to those around him.

Alex was a beloved son, brother, fiancé, grandson, nephew, and friend. He is cherished by his fiancé, Rebekah Day; his mother, Michelle Jarnigan (Tony), and his brothers, Michael and Josh; his father, Doug Wilson (Darlene), and his step-sisters, Christina Wiggins and Nicole Hinton; his grandparents, Stewart and Anne Wilson, Diane Cortese (Tony) and Ron Fashano (Shirley); his aunts, Mandy Slater (Kelvin) and Gina Goldberg (Scott); his step-grandparents, Donna and Ray Holbert; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who loved him deeply.

He will be missed beyond words, but his spirit, his humor, and the love he gave so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Our family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this time.

A celebration of Alex’s life will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Bobby Jones Golf Course Hall of Fame, 2205 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. All who knew and loved him are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate and honor his life, remembering the joy, laughter, and light he brought to so many.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UC San Diego in honor of Alex and the care he received while there.

In honor of Alex’s vibrant spirit, we invite guests to wear bright, uplifting colors. Following the service, refreshments will be served, and all are welcome to stay, connect, and continue sharing memories of Alex together. Thank you for holding Alex and his family in your hearts.
