Anne Mooneyhan Fountain

Anne Mooneyhan Fountain, 84, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 28, 1941, in Sumter, South Carolina, Anne was the daughter of the late John McDuffie and Ruby Geddings Mooneyhan. She grew up in Wedgefield, South Carolina, and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Jane Rogerson Hatcher.

Anne is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Guy Marion Fountain; her sons, Timothy Price (Jerry Sealy), John Price (Cindy), Todd Price (Anthony Crosby), and Chris Price; her grandchildren, Amber (Skyler) Goldman, Casey (Karla) Price, Aaron, Hudson, and Coleman Price; two great-grandchildren, Adelaide and Margot Goldman; her nieces, Teresa Rogerson and Carmen Anderson; her dear lifelong friend, Sharon Orr; and many extended family members and friends.

For many years, Anne served as a Credit Manager at PDI Plumbing Distributors in Lawrenceville. She was a dedicated employee whose professionalism, loyalty, and genuine care for others earned the respect and affection of both coworkers and customers, and she became a beloved member of the company family.

Anne had a remarkable gift for making people feel at ease. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, often leaving with a new friend. Her warmth, sense of humor, and unmistakable laugh brightened every room she entered.

Her greatest joy was her family. Christmas Eve was the highlight of her year as she welcomed family into her home for "visiting," dinner, stockings, and gifts. In Memaw's house, no grandchild was ever too old for a Christmas stocking. Those evenings will be treasured memories her family will always carry with them.

She also found happiness in life's simple pleasures—relaxing at the beach, annual trips to Las Vegas to play the slots, sitting on her screened porch watching the hummingbirds, or caring for the many dogs she loved over the years. She often said, "We had the best time," a simple phrase that reflected her appreciation for life's moments, both big and small.

Her greatest legacy is not found in grand accomplishments but in the countless lives she touched through simple acts of kindness, friendship, and love. She tried to leave people better than she found them.

A memorial service honoring Anne's life will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
