Harry Carl Beyer, age 89, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. He was born on March 31, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a proud graduate of Saint Ignatius High School and John Carroll University.

Harry lived a life defined by faith, courage, service, and unwavering love for his family. He honorably served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Major and earning distinction as a U.S. Army Ranger. During the Vietnam War, he completed two combat tours and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, among other commendations, in recognition of his bravery and dedication.

Following his military service, Harry continued his professional life as a National Account Manager with Bekins Moving and Storage, where he was respected for his integrity and work ethic. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his career, as he faithfully gave his time to help those in need through the Friends of St. Martin de Porres Food Pantry.

A devoted member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Harry was a man of deep and abiding faith. He faced life’s challenges with courage and strength, yet was gentle, forgiving, and kind. He was genuine and honest in all he did, treating everyone with equal respect and compassion. He had a special place in his heart for the underdog and was always ready to protect and uplift those in need.

To his family, Harry was so much more than a father - he was their foundation. Tough and strong, yet tender and loving, he possessed a magnificent heart and a boundless capacity to love, encourage, and reassure his children and grandchildren. They remain immensely proud of him and feel deeply blessed to have had him in their lives. Known for the twinkle in his eye, his warm smile, and his infectious chuckle that remained with him until his final breath, Harry left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat Beyer; his parents, Harry and Alice Beyer; and his sister, Lynn Singel.

Harry is survived by his loving children, Tim Beyer (Cathy), Matt Beyer (Mary), Sue Sik (Darrell), Jody Zabroske (Tom), and Lisa Pylant (Ken), along with his cherished grandchildren and extended family.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30341.

Harry’s legacy as a devoted husband, father, friend, and warrior will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His imperishable spirit endures in the lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.
