Leonard (Leo) Portnell

Leonard (Leo) Portnell, age 102, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed peacefully on December 10, 2025. He was born in Hankow, China on August 18, 1923. He lived in China and the Philippines before coming to the United States, settling in Georgia in 1958.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife (Zart) of 70 years. He is survived by his two sons and their wives Robert (Kara) Portnell of Greensboro, Georgia and Steven (Amy) Portnell of Suwanee, Georgia and two grandchildren Morgan Portnell of Boston, Massachusetts and Sarah Portnell of Suwanee, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkside at Budd Terrace.
