Margaret Ann Sparks passed away on January 30, 2026. She was born on January 15, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, and lived a life defined by love, her faith, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Gentry, and by her beloved husband of 54 years, Hal Sparks.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ann poured her heart into her family and took great joy in caring for those she loved. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Daniel; her grandson Reid Daniel and his wife Harley Daniel; her great-granddaughter Saylor Daniel; and her grandson Mitchell Daniel. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tom DuMay; her granddaughters Amber DuMay, Brooke DuMay, and Taylor DuMay; her brother Andy Gentry and his wife Becky Gentry; and her brother Randy Gentry (Tracy), along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who cherished her.

Ann will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her selfless love, and her deep devotion to her family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, at Hebron Christian Church, 2501 Hebron Church Rd., Winder, GA 30680, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a service to follow beginning at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ann’s memory to Agape Hospice of Athens, 1551 Jennings Mill Rd. Ste 2100A, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
